Dr. Hagit Mercedes Sabo-Brants is a criminologist specializing in violence prevention, emotional regulation, and technology-mediated interventions for vulnerable youth. She holds a PhD in Criminology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge. Currently, she is a Lecturer and Head of the Specialization in Violence Prevention and Rehabilitation at Western Galilee College and an adjunct lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research integrates criminology, psychology, and immersive virtual reality, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based policy and applied impact in educational and residential care settings.
