Dr. Ali Kaddour is an Associate Professor of Speech and Language Therapy at the Tipaza University Center, Algeria, and Director of the University Help Center for Psychology and Speech Therapy. He holds a PhD in Speech and Language Pathology and a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Algiers 2. A member of the Movement Disorder Society (MDS), he is a former consultant speech and language pathologist in the Neurosurgery Department at the University Hospital Center Bab El Oued, Algiers. His academic and clinical work focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of speech, voice, and language disorders of neurological origin, with particular emphasis on Parkinson’s disease, dysarthria, dysphonia, and communication disorders. Dr. Kaddour’s research integrates acoustic analysis, perceptual evaluation, and patient-reported outcomes, including validation of diagnostic and assessment tools adapted to Algerian Arabic speakers. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed national and international journals and contributed scholarly books on voice handicap, dysarthria management, and speech therapy techniques in neurological disorders. In addition to his teaching and research roles, he actively contributes to professional development through specialized training in movement disorders and the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare.

She has also earned a diploma in Library and Information Science and has qualified the NTA UGC-NET. Her dissertation focused on the evaluation of field-specific collections at the Gautam Buddha Central Library, BBAU, highlighting her research skills. Professionally, she has served as an Assistant Librarian at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Lucknow, and as a Librarian at Ankerite Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, gaining hands-on experience in acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, subscription management, and library administration. She has also undergone training at the Central Library of Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur. Technically proficient, Rinki is skilled in KOHA Integrated Library Management System, DSpace, Zotero, and various computer applications, including MS Office, Tally, and internet tools. She has actively participated in international and national conferences on library and information science, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Through his work, Dr. Covarrubias Rodríguez seeks to bridge the gap between digital innovation and human experience, ensuring that technological progress contributes meaningfully to learning, recovery, and social inclusion. A central focus of Dr. Covarrubias Rodríguez’s research lies in developing immersive and interactive environments that support cognitive and physical rehabilitation. His studies in VR-based stroke rehabilitation have demonstrated how virtual environments can assist patients in regaining motor skills, improving engagement, and enhancing therapeutic outcomes. By integrating engineering design principles with biomedical and psychological insights, he has contributed to the creation of adaptive systems that personalize therapy according to individual needs, making rehabilitation more motivating and effective.
